Description

Our solid ball top obelisks make a bold statement with climbers scrambling through. Designed and handmade in the UK from solid steel, they provide sturdy support and come in four sizes to accommodate most climbing plants.

These obelisks will arrive as uncoated (silver) steel which is ready to rust. When placed outside and exposed to the elements, the steel will naturally oxidise to produce the finish shown in around two weeks (a spray of vinegar will speed up the process). Please be aware the rust may leave a slight orange residue if touched, so be careful when handling.

You can push the feet into the soil of the border or stand them in pots. They can stay out all year to add height and structure and look attractive even when bare.

The H244cm model comes in two sections for simple self-assembly. All the other sizes are in one piece and ready to use when they arrive.

Please note: the height given is the total height; the obelisks will stand approximately 15-20cm shorter with feet sunk into the ground.
