Description

Dalefoot double strength peat-free compost made from a blend of sustainable sheep's wool and bracken sourced from the Lake District.

No other growing media has such a high concentration of nutrients - ideal for improving plant size and quality. Mix into soil for hungry vegetables like brassicas and beans, use as a base to make your own growing medium, or plant tomatoes directly in the bag.

It can also be mixed into sandy soil to improve water retention and nutrition, or as a top dressing for beds in spring (each bag will cover 1m² to a depth of 25mm). Contains 30 litres.

Please note: not suitable for container growing - use regular wool compost.

Delivery of larger orders:

Please note: order volumes over 16 bags will be delivered on a pallet. You will therefore need good access for a 7.5 tonne lorry and a relatively smooth surface for the trolley (it cannot travel over uneven surfaces e.g. gravel).

We will try our best to place it where you need it but may only be able to deliver to the kerbside. It will be at the driver’s discretion if he/she is able to help take any goods into the property or a safe place.
