Plant description
Initially, the flowers of this compact Japanese anemone are a rich pinkish purple, but as they age, the colour softens. A semi-double form, the petals are also variable in length, and often inrolled or quilled, so the flowers have an informal feel that lends itself well to more naturalistic settings.
