Description

The latest addition to the HOTBIN family of hot composters, the slimline HOTBIN Mini boasts the same super-efficient composting performance in a more compact package.

With a 100 litre capacity, it’s half the volume of the standard model, making it an ideal choice for smaller gardens or keen composters with less waste.

Just like its big brother, it will steam away at temperatures of 40-60°C to rapidly break down a wide range of garden and kitchen waste including cut grass, egg shells, leftover food and even bones.

The design features a new tongue and groove join to keep the lid firmly and securely sealed, preventing water ingress and locking in heat so it works even more efficiently.

As a result, you’ll only need to feed in minimal waste (around 2.5kg / 5 litres per week) to keep it firing on all cylinders. Mulching compost will be ready in only 30 days, and general purpose compost in just 90.

Besides compost, the HOTBIN also produces leachate which can be used as a liquid fertiliser. The sloped internal base funnels the liquid towards the drainage cap so you can easily draw it off.

Supplied with all the kit you need to get going: a user guide, lid thermometer, single cam strap, kick start bottle, internal thermometer, raking stick and 25 litre bag of bulking agent (partially composted wood chip).

Please note: the HOTBIN Mini is shown with the optional plinth base (sold separately - link below).
