Traditional yet timeless, this beautiful arch is a great way to add instant height and colour to your garden.

With a narrow profile, the arch is ideal for framing statues, water features and pathways or simply creating a sense of separation from one area of the garden to the next.

Train roses or other climbers up the trellis sides and along the bow top roof to create a scene-stealing focal point, or leave it unadorned to admire its elegant simplicity.

Made from pressure treated planed timber with a pale green finish, once assembled the arch can be used as it is or coloured to your personal taste.

Delivered flat packed with easy self-assembly required. Supplied with a 20-year guarantee against rot and fungal decay.

Measurements:
H250cm x W102cm x D45cm (please note: the arch must be bedded into the ground, reducing the height by around 40cm).

How does this fix to the ground and would it be suitable for a vine?

saladkitten

Hello there You don't need any fixings for this arch, you can just push the four bottom 'legs' of the arch into the ground. Yes you could grow a vine over this arch but I would choose a more compact form if possible.

Climbing roses for an arch Good Morning, Very shortly I will be installing a garden arch. I plan to plant Rosa 'Zephirine Drouhin' to climb over this arch. Would you advise planting a rose each side of the arch. Many thanks, Roger

Roger Pirrie

Hello Roger, It is possible to bend the plant over the top of the arch, but the rose will not grow all the way down the other side of the arch, so if you want the base and other side covered, then you will need two roses. Keep in mind though that this rose can grow to 3m tall, so you will need a large, sturdy arch. I hope this helps. Helen Plant Doctor

Planting climbers

The secret of success when planting a climber is to make sure that the soil is in good heart and the roots are set away from the dry conditions found at the base of a wall. After planting, I also suggest that you cover the surface of the soil with a mulch
