Larger than average, salverform flowers form in the leaf axils of the slender stems. Their lavender-blue colouring mixes well with most shades of pink, purple and blue, while the plant's prostrate habit lends itself perfectly to cascading containerised displays. To that end, we have created this combination which includes three 9cm pots of lesser periwinkle and our wide hanging plant cage.
Pack the base with moss or another natural fibre and top up with rich soil just like a regular basket, and feed the plants in through the open sides. Cage measures Ø30cm x H46cm.
Please note: hang on a secure hook out of reach of children. - Garden care: To prevent the plant from becoming invasive cut back any unwanted shoots in spring.
